This course provides a comprehensive framework for achieving personal growth. A variety of strategies that foster personal growth will be discussed, including: self-care; achieving physical, emotional and spiritual health; effective time management strategies; stress management techniques; and establishing healthy relationships. Students will develop their own personal growth plans, beginning with a self-assessment, followed by the development of goals and measureable objectives. The course will include a discussion of common barriers that often inhibit individuals from achieving personal growth. A variety of self-assessments and planning tools are included to assist students in personalizing the techniques and strategies to develop and achieve their own growth goals.
